Biography

Sarah Achieng Omondi was born on April 15, 2000, in Nakuru. She was a brilliant young law student at the University of Nairobi, in her final year, with dreams of becoming a human rights lawyer.

Sarah was passionate about social justice and had already interned at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. She was an active member of the University of Nairobi Students Association and a mentor to young girls in her community.

She was known for her eloquence, sharp mind, and dedication to fighting for the rights of marginalized communities. Sarah was also a talented poet who performed at various spoken word events in Nairobi.

Her sudden passing has left a deep void in her family, friends, and the entire legal community. She is survived by her parents, two younger brothers, and a generation of young people she inspired.
